NFC Playoff Scenarios - which one are we rooting for?
There are tons of outcomes I just what I am rooting for as far as scenarios....feel free to Add your dream scenario.

Best Case: Dallas Wins, and WASH gets #6 Seed That would put Dallas against Seattle, and Wash against Niners in WC round.....Both of which "could challenge" their opponent. Seattle and Washingtone advance and we get a less than 100% RG3 in our first game. Seattle goes to GB (who wants revenge for the TD call by replacement refs). NFC Championship GB versus Atlanta......This time we are the hot team and we roll over their injured no real running game offense.

That would work for me....Even better if Dallas could win 2 and we could have a ROMO implosion in the championship game (we owe them from 1980 anyway).

I am not really scared of any team, I think we match up pretty well with all playoff teams, just hate that SEA and GB have been on a bit of a tear (that said GB did their most recent tear against the Titans).

Dallas Beatable (hurting right now....but still have some moments)
SF Beatable (Not sure why everyone thinks they are so unstoppable.....)
CHI Beatable (Cutler - Nuff said)
MINN Beatable (not likely to make it but stop AP and make Ponder attempt to beat you.......this would be a great Amoeba defense match up)
WASH Beatable (RG3 hurting a bit.....and Defense has lost some starters this year....they have been playing subpar teams as of late too)
GB/SEA - Beatable but streaking....(GB no running game - another chance for Nolan to shine versus an elite QB) - SEA (may not have Sherman - Rookie QB for Nolan....Lynch scares me more than Russell does)

i like our chances provided our team stays focused......thoughts? What are your Scenarios?

Interesting twist would be Minn beating GB (dropping GB to #3) and that would mean Minn at GB for WC round......and a Rookie QB matchup in RG3 (if Wash wins which I think is more likely than Dallas) and Wilson......

I want SF, they're massively depleted by injuries and Kaepernick is looking shaky.

I want a playoff win under the Smith/Dimitroff/Ryan era under any circumstances.

Seattle scares the hell out of me. Their corners should match up well to Roddy and Julio, and their pass rush is fierce. Lynch isn't elite, but he's very, very solid.

RE: NFC Playoff Scenarios - which one are we rooting for?
To be fair their corners haven't come across a a trio of receivers this skilled or physical. One in a team but not a plethora of elite talent that is that physical. Atlanta has this reputation of being a finess team but they are very physical. Those corners will have to over play the physical game to win and that works in Atlanta's favour what with how the game is called.

I seriously don't worry about any teams defense. We have faced multiple top pass Defenses and won as always. This team plays with a total and unassuming level of confidence in their team. It does not matter who the foe is.

If the Falcons are up and come to play then I don't care who we play, we will win. If the Falcons come out flat and thinking "They GOT THIS!!" then it will not matter who they face the will lose. I personally think we win and win big.

Ignorance can be educated.....Stupidity is to the bone.

The funny thing is that the two teams I would not want to play in the playoffs won't be there - Carolina and New Orleans.

RG3 and Wilson will struggle in the playoffs. We'll get Dallas.

RE: NFC Playoff Scenarios - which one are we rooting for?
Why is everyone scared of Seattle's defense? The Falcons played the Seahawks in both 2010 and 2011 and beat them both times. They have basically the same defense and players this year that they've had the last 2 years.

2010 - @ SEA - W 34-18
Ryan - 20/35 (57.1%), 174 YDS (5.0), 3 TD, 1 INT - 87.1 QB Rating
White - 7 REC, 65 YDS, 1 TD
Gonzalez - 4 REC, 26 YDS, 0 TD

2011 - @ SEA - W 30-28
Ryan - 28/42 (66.7%), 291 YDS (6.9), 1 TD, 0 INT - 94.4 QB Rating
White - 6 REC, 78 YDS, 0 TD
Gonzalez - 7 REC, 56 YDS, 1 TD
Jones - 11 REC, 127 YDS, 0 TD

Also Seattle isn't nearly as good on the road as they are at home. So I don't understand why people are scared of them.

But on the other hand I see everyone saying we want the Packers. I don't. The Packers scare the hell outta me because of Aaron Rodgers.

any news yet on the sherman appeal? if he loses that appeal, he won't be available at all in the playoffs with it being a 4 game suspension. their other starting corner is already serving his suspension isn't he? he wouldn't be around for a game with us

Chew on THAT, Petunia!
