I get it Tandy..I'm not on board with running the table, so i'm in the wrong. I'm sorry that according to your definition, i'm a realist. I just choose to recognize that there are teams out there that are capable of beating us. I voice my concerns, and I guess that's where i come off as not being a "true" fan. Oh well...

I don't know. Maybe i'm missing something, but i've been critical of the Falcons game coming up against the Packers, and it seems that i've been catching heat because of it. My realist comment is based on your signature with the fan definitions. I can't be happy go lucky when we have overall struggled against 3-4 teams this year. Yes, we beat the Ravens with a different gameplan, but we were a couple of calls going the other way from losing that game. I'm not completely sold on this teams ability to counter the 3-4. I just feel that because I am critical of our home games against the Packers and Saints, i'm being somewhat criticized for not thinking we can run the table.

^that is a thread I made before the Baltimore game about us vs. 34 defenses. Add in the BAL game and those stats look even better.

And if we did lose that would've been due to our D losing the lead, don't you agree? Between the stats in my thread and the recent game, what more do you need to be sold on this?

What I like about it is looking at how the teams below us can be eliminated by losing a couple of games here or there. Cool stuff.

There is no question that our OL has struggled with 3-4 defenses. When you look at the time to throw - you can see it.

The difference is our QB. He has one of the quickest releases I've ever seen. He can feel pressure and get the ball out which results in more plays on the positive side than the negative side.

The Baltimore game - they let him run no huddle the entire first half - and part of the second half. This allowed him to dictate to the defense instead of the reverse. It is exactly how Manning has been so successful and overcame his early struggles with a 3-4 defense.

Most people who said the Falcons struggled against the 3-4 were pretty clear that the problem was with the protection and the line holding up against larger opponents. We have found ways to overcome this in many games, but the fact still remains that we struggle. Our quarterback takes too many hits, works under too much pressure and the risk of injury to him is ultra high in those games.

I see every one of those teams with at least 2 losses added to their current stats. I don't see how GB gets to 12-4. Just not possible.
