Everytime someone posts something about the media saying something stupid about the Falcons or totally ignoring the Falcons altogether a lot of you folks blast them with the same "why do you care what they say?", let's fly under the radar!", "blah, blah, blah."

Well I don't think it is nearly like you guys think. It isn't that we care so much about what they say or don't say about the Falcons as it is we get sick of hearing, and have been for years, the same Patriots, Cowboys, Jets, Saints, Steelers, Big Ben, Brett Favre, Terrell Owens, NFC East, ect. mess over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

The Oakland Raiders scored a franchise record 59 points last Sunday. You're talking about one of the greatest NFL franchises ever scoring more points in a game than they ever have before and yet they can't get a sniff of national attention.

We're talking about Roddy White having the 2nd best game of his NFL career on Sunday and matching highlight reel catch after highlight reel catch. How many games have their been in NFL history with a receiver having over 200 yards receiving in a game? It can't have happened that many times.

Yet on Tuesday when SportsCenter did their top 10 plays of Week 7 the only Falcon play that made it was Roddy getting stripped of the ball for a fumble return touchdown. Had that been TO or Reggie Wayne or Larry Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson you and I both know darn well they would have shown a couple of those plays.

On Sunday the Broncos and 49ers will be playing in the NFL's now annual NFL game in London. Yes both of these teams stink to high heaven as evidence by their combinded record of 3-11. But this is still suppose to be a big deal on a national level.

Sorry but people will continue to post threads bashing the media and rightfully so until they get a clue which will probably be never. That outside of the Northeast there are very few people that care.
