Wow! Way to go Tandy!
I finally read your post... and what a great post it was. I doubt anyone from ESPN bothered to read it, but nicely done. My main beef with our team is the OL. In my honest opinion, it is the greatest weakness and should be the focus of our attention this off season. Ryan needs more time, in a real pocket, to make the most of our weapons. Forget the talking heads on national TV. If it ain't Dallas, NY or some disciple of Parcells, it ain't worth covering in depth. |

Why are they in Atlanta anyway? They talk sports on that show???? Shocker!!! And to think I thought it was a show about "dogs and poodles"?!?!

Imagine how tough it would be to defend manning if there was also a running game to contend with. Playaction would be lethal. But I hate the colts, especially after the superbowl so I'll continue to enjoy their post season failures. Largely by design. They have had a mediocre running game most of the time, although Edgerin James was pretty good and Joseph Adai has also been good. The problem is that their line is built for the pass - not the rush. You don't have the pulling type OL - more of the guys who can hold a pocket while the passer sets up for the throw. If you put Peyton Manning behind our line - he would still flourish, because he is just that good - but he would not have the same success he has behind his line. Tom Brady on the other hand, would be dead. ![]()
