I think the Falcons probably did have some interest in TJ, and that he just chose Baltimore over Atlanta. That's what I tell myself to make myself feel better anyway. It's better than thinking that we just aren't trying. |

Anyone who tries to make a statement for sure on the matter is pure conjecture and speculation based off little more than opinion and perception. |

RE: My Issues With TD
Well...I think that some of the moves we've made, or rather haven't made, tells me a lot about how ready this team is to make a run...
They pronounce Bryant the PK after the first Pre-Season game, they didn't bring anyone else in to at least create competition at the position. We made it to the Superbowl off a FG, games are won and lost by FGs...it's extremely important, and yet they gave the job to a guy that we know can be inconsistent and doesn't have the power to kick the long ball. They know we are banged up at WR, to the point of probably having to start a receiver in Finn who has torn 2 ACLs and MCL and been the 4th best receiver on the depth chart, or start and undersized possession receiver in HD coming off an ACL. Even if we didn't pick up Housh, they were WRs that were released that would have been head over shoulders better than Brian Finneran. Dome Section 232! |

I agree with you that the inactivity on the WR thing is puzzling, especially after Smith kind of clued that they were going to do something. As far as Bryant goes, I am not ready to judge them on that. I thought he did very well at Pittsburgh. |

I just can't stand missed FGs, because they immediately turn the ball over on spot of attempt. Which is more often than not, b/t the 20-50yd line Dome Section 232! |

Which is more often than not, b/t the 20-50yd line If you looked at the track record of visiting kickers in Henz field, you would understand that Bryant had a pretty good day. It is a legendarily bad place to kick. The field has an extremely crappy surface for kicking, and there are very unpredictable swirling winds in the place. In it's existence, visiting kickers are well under 50% kicking FGs between 40-49. I think Bryant was 2-3 from that distance, so......not bad. |

I think because it's been so hard for us to crack the Red-Zone and score TDs, any missed FGs seem like game changers... If the offense wasn't struggling as bad, the miss FGs would definitely be easier to choke back I know I know...."that's what she said" lol Dome Section 232! |

If Bryant starts missing kicks in the GA Dome, I will be the ring leader of the "Get His Ass Outta Here" movement. The Falcons killed me last year with running Elam out there over and over again. |

RE: My Issues With TD
Radical, to answer your question I'm not sure what I'd do. I just wish that something were done.
Either realize that Mularkey needs specifics for his offense and that the style of defense needs a REAL NT or get different coordinators. I say we need one or two more offensive playmakers and a DT. |

Come on man, our offense has a Pro Bowl Receiver, Running Back, HoF Tight End, and ROTY QB. Thats a bonafied playmaker at every notable skill position. ![]() A huge DT I can somewhat agree with. As for another playermaker or completely gutting our coordinators and starting over, no sir. I cant get with that at all. |
