(09-16-2010 03:17 PM)Peyton Wrote: Yeah, but I think most people don't really do the math. The ticket sales are not that important. What is the average price of a ticket at the Georgia Dome? Would you say it is $80? So if they are running up 65,000 fans in there, they are making about 5 million per game, 50 mil a year. If attendance were to be down a 20%, it would only mean 10 mil a year less in ticket revenues. If you get blackouts you lose your T.V. deal $$$ in the process. We both want the same thing just different directions of getting there. I'm not overly patient anymore. My 21yrs of being a fan is starting to take its toll the older I get. |

RE: My Issues With TD
I really wish TD would get rid of some of the LAZY players we have on our team, some of these guys just dont care as long as they are making bank and can buy diamond for their iphone.

By the time I was 23 I was all (This is the year) or (we are building for the future) I hope your 21yrs later story is better than mine. I'v seen TD before. He was the GM for the Colts back in the day. EDIT: Not literally the GM...you get what I'm saying. |

He got one guy. We needed at least two more and there were some available folks. Nothing was done. Who and what did you have in mind? Not even going to try to address your posts after this, I'll end up with like 6 quotes. |

That is certainly one reason, but I believe play calling is the other reason. That being said, I still would like to have another Receiver. |

(09-16-2010 03:07 PM)Peyton Wrote: I haven't read all the way through this thread, but I do have a theory about why the team isn't make strong efforts to shore up a couple of the weak spots. I think it's financial. I think the Falcons are close to that line between profitibility and losing money, and they want to make sure they stay on the right side of that line. If a ProBowl WR in TJ for only $850,000 for one year would break this team, then we have more problems than just losing on Sunday. Dome Section 232! |
