My Half-Time Thoughts.
Well, after watching the first half, it's hard to even think that the Falcons have a chance.

The Packers are ripping our defense apart one play at a time. I see a lot of problems too. One of my biggest issues right now is the defensive line. I understand that Rogers is going to get big play opportunities if we don't put guys in coverage, but we need 4 lineman at ALL times. And we need to bring 1 or 2 other guys. We need to trust our guys in man coverage. Obviously, Chris Owens can't get the job done, we are seeing that, so that's fine! Bring him into the backfield, we all know that Owens can hit, we've seen him hit hard before. Let them get after Rogers, and trust that we can cover their receivers.

On offense, where to start? I have been saying all week that if our offensive line doesn't step up and protect Ryan, we would LOSE this game. It's as if they aren't game planning nearly as much for Matthews as they were in the first meeting. I mean, they are giving Matthews the opportunity to take on one man when he's rushing. He demands more respect than that. And what's with the playcalling now? In the first quarter we ran the ball really effectively, go back to it. Give Turner the ball, rush it opposite of Matthews. The key to beating the Packers with our OFFENSE is to protect Ryan, they haven't been doing that.

With that said, I would love to give a shout out to ALL those Eric Weems haters from the start of the season, all the way up to about week 5 or 6. Where are they now!? That's right, little Eric Weems is a play maker now!
