Well, I don't know if she was right or not, but she was suggesting that he wasn't suppose to have been up there at all. She was suggesting that Grimes was suppose to be the one taking on Ward and that DeCoud was suppose to be filling the gap where Peterson got blowed up.

I don't know if she was right or not, but considering how the play unfolded, her explanation made sense.

Correct! Decoud was out of position! He made a judgement call and was WRONG! These are NOT my words, these are the words of the coaches AND players in their meeting so just deal with it people. I cant believe people are still blaming Grimes for this play AND the other play from the Cardinals game. Poor guy! U see now why I defend and support him so much? He is the most under-rated player on our team yet his stats say he is our #1 corner from last season. I wish u guys knew that Chris Owens even knows Grimes is BETTER THAN HE IS and that Owens is just happy to be the #1 nickel guy. Owens battled Chevis Jackson the entire camp and preseason for that job yet people kept saying there was a battle for the #2 corner job. There was NEVER a battle for that job, Grimes had it from the start and unless he stunk up the field or got seriously hurt in the preseason there was never even a mention of giving it to someone else. If Grimes has anything close to the season he had last year, this year, the Falcons will have to pull out the big wallet and PAY THE MAN because trust me, other teams are watching! Yeah he will be a RFA next year but if he gets 6 INT's this year the Falcons would be idiots to let him become an UFA.

Obviously Grimey is too short to run from the left side of the field to the right side of the field and make the tackle. I thought this was common knowledge...

He'll get a deal during the season I think as long as he validates what he has shown.

You can tell that the word is out on Grimes. The Steelers and Cardinals have barely tested him and when they do it's little outs and hooks that have been thrown low.

Both plays were caused by SEVERAL players gettin' beat. However, in Pittsburgh, Grimes and Coleman stood out as biggest offenders. Against ARIZ, Moore had the best chance and tried to turn the play into linebackers that weren't there. He needed to be more agressive. JMHO>
