I love my daughter so much. While we were eating lunch she looks up at the TV and when I tell her the saints might be playing in the snow tomorrow, with a wrinkled brow she passionately states "Daddy, I HATE the Saints".

You are doing much better than I at raising a proper Falcon fan.
My son lives in a divided household, and despite all the Falcons apparel, and a big John Abraham poster on his wall, I have yet to convert him to "rabid".

Where can I vote for you for "Father of the Year?" Seriously, is there a competition somewhere?

RE: My 5 Year Old Just Made My Day
I'm in the other boat.
My 2 year old will shout "GO FALCONS!" and raise is fist up in the air at random times of the day and during the week. My 6 year old can't stand the Falcons because when the game is on he can't watch his cartoons. When the TB @ ATL game was on he finally got tired of it. He asked me who the other team was and I said they were the Buccaneers. He asked me what that a was and I told him they were sorta like pirates. Now when we see football, talk football... my 6 year old son says "GO PIRATES!". I think it's a lost cause.

RE: My 5 Year Old Just Made My Day
I tell ya, it was very tricky on Thanksgiving, the proverbial slippery slope trying to explain how we are rooting for the cowboys but only for one day and maybe never again, and only because they are playing the saints. I really had to stress that, the LAST thing I want to bring in is anything cowboys. She did become very disinterested when I told her their record (maybe I called them losers
)The funny thing we were down in the Florida panhandle where saints fandom was running rampant. All in all, though, given what transpired today fortunately I think she got the message
