RE: My 2011 Atlanta Falcons Draft Picks
Errr, pretty sure Beal plays in a 3-4 in college, which is why I suggested him as an OLB pass rushing specialist in NFL IF he were to get drafted into a 4-3, which I think is a long shot.

And you're drafting lots of positions that historically don't contribute well year 1. That's why those positions (DE, CB, scat-back) everyone has been suggesting filling with FA so they can contribute right away & we don't have to hope we're lucky. Then stack up on TE, WR x2, OL x2, & OLB, all of which historically have a much higher percentage of immediate contribution.

I don't watch College Football I just based my picks of Walter Football's ranking and sideline scouting scouting reports.

But I think a first round runningback can contribute in the first year big time, and even more after a year of seasoning with Turner.

There were a couple good rookie receivers this year and I think Hankerson sounds like a guy that could help alot.

I should've mentioned that I would go DE in FA as well, I wouldn't completely start Beal until Abe was done or FA is gone or done so he can make an impact in a couple years.

Also I would sign a veteran #3 CB and put the rookie at #4 and again, have him "season" behind the FA signing and hopefully, along with Franks end up adding good depth. (Dunta, Grimes, House, Franks.. In a couple years).

Wright would add depth because Peterson and Wire don't have much left.
