I know, it's a steep price, but his potential is sky high! all depends on the chips. if we're talking a generic store brand, ok. but no name brand stuff. i guess i'd only be willing if it was sam's cola....if it was actual coca cola, i can't see over one, certainly not two. well, unless they'd been opened a couple of days and were flat... Chew on THAT, Petunia!

RE: Mularkey to Interview for the Titans HC Job
i didn't think williams would want to go anyway. he's been quoted about being excited to get to work with his son. Adams won't allow nepotism, i thought i'd read somewhere that's why he didn't want to go there. I wouldn't say loyalty to those mentioned wouldn't be a good reason. Nice to see someone would have the integrity to remain loyal to friends and family. Chew on THAT, Petunia!

Even if the new team restructures that contract, if I'm a team why would I give up picks for someone that his team doesn't want? If someone wants him they'll just wait to sign him as a FA. I still have no idea why Tennessee killed their leverage and told the world they were releasing him so soon. |

RE: Mularkey to Interview for the Titans HC Job
So from reading everyone's responses it seems for the most part like everyone is pretty glad this news came up. But the one thing that concerns me about IF MM leaves for the HC job/Gets the HC job is that Ryan and Company are going to have to learn a new offense.
Don't know if its just me, but i feel that's a Huge problem if we're wanting to go to a Superbowl next season. For Ryan and everyone to get comfortable with the new offense and to mesh well at the same time. Just a thought. -ROCK CHALK!!! |

RE: Mularkey to Interview for the Titans HC Job
I think hiring family is always a recipe for future disaster. Billick & Smitty are essentially family. I don't like that option. I like Billick though a lot, but this is just one of my rules I don't do personally, so don't like it here either.
Not to mention I would want Friedgen over anyone else anyways. He took Maryland from total crap to a very very good team. He's offensive minded, strict, confident, (he's the polar opposite of a Jim Mora), & he absolutely knows how to utilize weapons & run a multi-dimensional spread offense. |
