More Stupidity from the NFL and Players alike - Thigh/knee pads.

I've always wondered about that, seems like common sense to me wear pads so you don't get hurt. I guess without a rule no one does it because they don't want to get slowed down compared to the guys that don't have the pads.

By the same token, maybe they can do a similar thing with helmets, you know, make a super sized, extra cushioned helmet maybe 2-3 feet in diameter. The NFL Bobble Head league
