He doesnt seem to care about what he says to the world, no matter how offensive or absurd. His embarassing literacy skills are also something he obviously has no desire to improve either.

Does he not realize that EVERYONE can read this stuff he tweets? I recall not too long ago he tweeted his displeasure that the AJC was copying his tweets. Yea - Moron - when you Tweet, the Media will see it.

The thing with Roddy is he is low key guy and can not probably express his views the correct way so he probably turns to twitter . Guys like Jerry Rice or Reggie Wayne ,Jeter, Manning, Brady , pure class guys would never be caught even trying to justify what Kobe did or imply that he will only use the word off the field or on his twitter

Just a real low character move by Roddy I expect better then him and watch what he says on his twitter cause he has lil kids that look up to him and idolize him

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

Roddy is a well-known loud-mouth on the football field too. Ive heard several players say that about him.

RE: More Roddy (twitter)
Yea I have no problem with getting in corners face having lil fun trash talking. What I have a problem is that this kid which he still is hasnt grown up yet still and taking on leadership role and felt the need to tweet the word Kobe used to get fined and then imply with his statement that it is ok to say it just not on the field ..Im no goodie to shoes that is for sure I use that word out in public to my friends whatever case may be, joke around whatever but for Roddy to tweet that just doesnt show that he has fully matured yet and probably will never.

RE: More Roddy (twitter)
I would say the word in question is as ugly as saying the "N" word. Both derogatory terms used as slander towards a group of people. Gay rights are just behind African American rights because people dont see it as a big deal like earlier generations dont see the "N" word as a big deal.

I guess Roddy worked his ass off to become a top WR in order to give himself a big platform to show everyone how ignorant he is.

Ehhhh...the n word was a variation of the Spanish word negra, translation black. It was created to demean the black people. Faggot is similar to bitch. They both were already in the English language, and happened to link towards a group of people over time. The thing is, whoever the females right enforcer is doesn't cause a fuss when bitch is used for a male. Faggot is similar in that way...Kobe wasn't degrading gays, he was simply throwing out a word that has evolved into a diss that can be launched towards anybody. Not to mention, last I remember, a nation hasn't enslaved gays and belittled them to being "that faggot". Iunno, like i said, didn't seem that bad when I saw it.

I use the word faggot when it applies. When my friends act like faggots. That's about it.

...but I don't use it outside of my circle of friends because I know the word can be offensive to some. Roddy needs to figure that out. Ovie's probably gonna kick his ass.

You are really going to compare levels of hate towards a group of people. In that case black people should never complain considering what happened to Jewish People but thats not how it works hate is hate.
I used to not think Faggot was that bad of term but then I begin to realized how often gays were slandered in media and on television and it was considered the norm. I began to realize the homosexual community had a valid point. Canada stepped up and banned the word from tv. Quick example of gay oppression out of many examples, they arent able to marry and therefore arent able to consent over a loved one when it comes to life and death situations or be considered a family member which is pretty horrible. Plus Im pretty sure victims of gay hate crimes have been referred to as "that faggot" as they are brutally beaten or in some cases murdered. I know he didnt mean to slander gays and understand how it doesnt seem like a big deal but i guarantee it was offensive to the gay community because it has evolved into a gay slander. Maybe it will end up opening peoples eyes and serve as a step to become more socially aware. I didnt care that much what Kobe did cause, he was just ignorant like most of America to the gravity that the word holds. What a weird situation for Roddy to take a stance on.
