The second replay was the one that showed a possible bobble. I am not sure that the second replay was shown before the next snap occurred. Anyone want to check the broadcast tape?

Pretty sure it was otherwise I wouldn't have been yelling for them to hurry up. But I think you are right about the 2 different replays.

Just watched the broadcast, and caught a part of an interview with the VP of officiating on NFLN about that play.

Both booths for each team have the same setup, both receive the same feeds, being the TV feed. Watching the broadcast, we ran the play before the 2nd angle where you can see the ball touch the ground was played on the TV.

However, the home team has complete control of the jumbotron. This is a part of homefield advantage, as the home team chooses what angle to show on the big screen. You can bet your arse if this was in GB, that 2nd angle would have been played on the jumbotron and subsequently challenged.

On a side note, maybe GB's booth didn't have sound enabled, because the announcer went 'ohhhhh, you might want to challenge that!'.

i don't know if it happens now or not, but my first thought when i read your post was God help us if coaches start going by what the TV announcers say

Chew on THAT, Petunia!
