RE: Mike Smith admitting the coaches are the problem
He's wise to stay away from the players.

To bad Ochocinco isn't on this team.
we would already know the full details lol.

Not to be an asshole, but this is a HUGE stretch. Not only that, but it is clearly overstated and completely out of context. I suggest anyone that hasnt watched the video, go back and watch it.

What he actually says, and the point he is trying to make, is that its the entire Team's fault and everyone needs to improve from game 1 to game 2. He did not say it is ONLY the coaches fault, or "the coaching is the problem".

I know tons of you hate MM and want to see him gone. Thats okay, we can agree to disagree. However, there is no need to attribute false information to our HEAD COACH as if he is supporting your viewpoint. Thats clearly not the case.

Thats not what I took from it.

The convo went into that on its own.

Now that we seem to have the defense thing figured out, or we are getting close to being there, I wish we could just get our offense moving.

If it's not one thing, it's another. It seems like we can never get all sides of the football running on 8 cylinders.

I cannot get the video to play any longer than 5 secsat any one point to even understand it as a conversation...bloody hell it's going to take over an hour to watch a 14 min video.

iMac with newest Safari browser should be able to handle it, is it me, or are things just that messed up.

I never thought that anyone was saying that Smith was actually calling out any of the staff. I felt like for once he is actually taking into account that some things need to be addressed in the back rooms.

WE are to blame for talking about Mularkey.

RE: Mike Smith admitting the coaches are the problem
The title of the thread is what I am referring to.

"Mike Smith admitting the coaches are the problem."

Its just a very misleading topic if you dont watch the video. He actually admits the coaches and players "are the problem", as well as other things. Its ultimately Coach Speak for "Our Team failed to get the job done." I just dont like someone misquouting our Coach out of context and then people using that as an excuse to say "See, I told you Mularkey sucks!".

If you dont like the guy thats fine. If you choose to blame one person for everything, thats fine too. Just dont use disingenuous means to get your point across or support your position.

He did in a way publicly admit that. He did it in a very political way.

He said "and not only with the players but the coaches as well are part of the problem, including me"

Okay. For me (I read alot and I'm an aspiring writer) its more important to read the posts than just the title.
