RE: Mike Smith admitting the coaches are the problem
It's time for Mike Smith to take that same fire and will to win on Sundays into the rest of the week and impose his will as head coach on the other coaches.

I want to know that Mike Smith has told Mularkey that he needs to Rise Up. I want to read about it, I want to hear about it, instead of just getting these roundabout excuses of "well i thought we moved the ball well, but we have to score TDs" That line may have worked last year, but it's tired and played out now.

lol...our longest run was 7yds...with Turner/Norwood/Snelling, that is inexcusable

RISE UP!

I'm expecting practice this week will be intense....

I noticed AF.com has at least finally put a room mic in place for the Press Conferences... I've been begging for that for years.

Now, I've been saying this for a while now. I'm just glad that Smith is noticing.

Just when the AF.com starts listening, everything else that was fine goes to shat. go figure.

We got to get rid of Mularkey. I don't care if I get ragged for calling for his head, so be it, he is terrible.

3yr OC in Pitt = fired predictability, put up yards, but no points
1yr HC in Buf = Just plain terrible, he didn't have what it took to lead a group of men, and fired for predictability
1yr OC in Mia = demoted after 1 year to TE Coach

any questions?! When are the Falcons going to get serious about bringing in a guy who is a proven coach and leader of men, not a 3 team burnout!!!

I'm on board with firing MM, but I don't think it will accomplish anything to do it during the season.

It's funny, because I was accused of being a damn idiot when I said in the off-season that Charlie Weis would be a better OC for this team

I still believe it.

I don't know whats up over there but since the neg rating system its getting awful. You know back in the day I had two major MB meltdowns about drafting JA98 and then Matt Ryan who I am still on the fence about. I later came back and apologized and all was well. Had there been a neg system back then I'd be considered a troll.

To come back to what you said. Every year we have a chance at a good player, coach, or circumstance and just won't make an effort. I've said a few times that I really don't like TD and I'm starting to dislike Mike Smith, but this latest with Smitty has me believing in him again.

RE: Mike Smith admitting the coaches are the problem
I believe in Smitty. He has been a great leader. He has the respect of the players.
I also believe this is the first year Mike has been able to work with TD in the draft. Yes they've worked together before but its obvious the D is being built to Smiths liking.
