In 2003 he coordinator a Jaguars offense that ranked 12th in yardage, but 25th in points, while in 2004 the Jaguars offense was pretty much all around pure garbage.

Still. I would not be all that confident with Musgrave being our OC based on what I do know about him. I'm sure he'll get a shot, but it will be a leap of faith for me.

Musgrave's "resignation" in 2000 was of the "resign so we don't have to fire you" variety. His ass was squarely on the hot seat at the time.

Conceding the argument with a personal attack is always a nice way to go out. Well done.

I found it amusing, even in this game. Any time we did something good, go Ryan/Roddy/Turner/etc. Any time we did something bad, instant Mularkey fail.

My favorite is when we lined up and the Panthers we showing blitz on the left side, Ryan backs up and says KILL KILL, resets and hands the ball to Turner off tackle away from the blitz. Turner gets stuffed and everyone is immediately on the OMG MULARKEY SUCKS!11 lemming chirping.

That was pretty funny. As good as Matt is in the no-huddle, even he is fallible.

Whatever gets him out of town so we don't have to keep watching moronic trick plays on 3rd downs that never work.

MM called a good game today. I think he was just practicing after we got a solid lead. I got no complaints today.

We do a lot of trick plays on 3rd down?

We are talking about the Falcons right?

If Mularkey decides to go, I wish him well. Just bring in Billick. 1998 Vikings' offense ring a bell??

Young Randy Moss and Chris Carter ring a bell?

Look up the Ravens offense when Brian Billick was running the show there...

When I say look up... I mean go to the record books for his years there and scroll to the bottom of the rankings... because that's where they were.

An interesting scenario would be if in fact Mularkey got the DEN job...whether or not we would pursue McDaniels for the OC position?

This is a ways away and given that I hope we're playing in Feb, I suspect that will take Mularkey off the market.
