i want musgrave as the OC god that would be amazing then eventually redman.

I found it amusing, even in this game. Any time we did something good, go Ryan/Roddy/Turner/etc. Any time we did something bad, instant Mularkey fail.

My favorite is when we lined up and the Panthers were showing blitz on the left side, Ryan backs up and says KILL KILL(which is "killing" the current play and checking down into a run), resets and hands the ball to Turner off tackle away from the blitz. Turner gets stuffed and everyone is immediately on the OMG MULARKEY SUCKS!11 lemming chirping.

because musgrave has been ryan's qb coach for 3 years now. he's worked with some great coaches with great schemes. and i plain like the guy.

The fact that Musgrave has been an abject failure in his limited time as an OC at the NFL level (Fired after 4 games in 2000. Coordinated 25th and 29th ranked scoring offenses in '03 and '04) doesn't concern you just a little bit?

To be fair, he resigned in 2000 with the Panthers, not fired.

In 2003 he coordinator a Jaguars offense that ranked 12th in yardage, but 25th in points, while in 2004 the Jaguars offense was pretty much all around pure garbage.

Still... I would not be all that confident with Musgrave being our OC based on what I do know about him. I'm sure he'll get a shot(maybe here, maybe not), but it will be a leap of faith for me.

Good point. That's why I think we should hire Terrance Mathis as our OC. He's worked with some great coaches in some great schemes and, well, I just plain like the guy. I'm sure he'll learn how to win.
