That's true.

This gives new meaning to the phrase "Lombardi Trophy"...and quite frankly, I don't appreciate the imagery! Confused

to be honesy he's just stating facts, hardly like he went out on a limb. With him and Jamie "Brain Farting" Dukes climbing aboard, the wagon is getting a lil on the heavy side

What exactly did he say to piss everyone off?

Lombardi has been known for doubting the Falcons. He rarely gives them credit for their success, and routinely finds deficiencies in the team that may or may not actually exist.

He's just generally a Falcons hater. I noticed it last year. It's not the picking against the team, saying we're not the best, etc. That doesn't bother me at all...but with some of these guys it becomes apparent that they have some kind of bias against certain teams. He continued to bash us but it was like pulling teeth if we were doing well to get him to say something positive. It was a backhanded compliment. Then he practically went orgasmic when we lost in week 1 and started talking about "Whispers" in the front office that they weren't sure Matt Ryan was a franchise qb, etc.

Bottom line: He was just a hater. Whether he has history with someone in our organization and that's why...I don't know.

I think it was right after the Steelers game, he went on "Inside the NFL" and said that people within the Falcons organization have doubts about how good Matt Ryan can be.

That didn't go over well with the fan base.

Or Thomas Dimitroff. Who said that was "Absolutely ridiculous."
