That Adrian Clayborn would be the right pick for us to play opposite of Abraham if he is still available. I don't know what to say about this because I have actually never seen him play but I have heard about him a little bit.
Thoughts? |

RE: Mel Kiper said on the Falcons ESPN on the clock
I haven't either, but they said he had a down senior year after being talked about as a top 15 pick the year before. That worked out alright for us I think with William Moore who wasn't able to produce in his last year due to injuries. I think that DE is the way to go if we don't get to have free agency before the draft. But we need a WR and RB.

I expect a big year for William Moore, if we actually have a year

The Falcons didn't have issues getting pressure to the quarterback. It was taking the next step and getting the sacks they had issues with. Still think we need to go receiver (Or CB if a solid one is available) in the first. (Ha, my opinion has changed over the past few days!)
I'm now on the Torrey Smith bandwagon. Chances that he falls to the 2nd round, but the guy is good all around, he needs to improve a little on route running, but he's a lot like Roddy White.

I think Clayborn is too big for this system. He's, what, 30lbs more than our starting LDE? This is the most frustrating part, when draftniks pick who they would take, not necessarily what a team would take.

The thing about him though is that he smashed a cab driver's face in just last year. Yeah, like we're interested in that. |

How can someone who's supposed to be this incredible draft guru be so incredibly wrong?
Yeah, lets pick the #6th-8th ranked (depending on what site you're looking at) 4-3 DE who has character issues for the FALCONS first round pick. Of ALL the mocks I've seen, that has to be by far THE WORST pick of them all. Kiper is a joke. |

The dude talks so fast and voluminous that he overwhelms most people with the feeling "well, the guy must know what he's talking about because he is saying a lot of stuff"......but its just a damn vaudeville act - dude can tell you some guys 40 time or some other stat but he cannot really break down tape or tell you who is a good player and who is not - like Mike Mayock. |
