Media Excuse #1 this was a meaingless game?

Seen this said a few times by various pundits on ESPN and NFL network but what the fuck are they talking about? It was only probably meaningless to us, how on earth can they say it was meaningless to the Giants?

They very well may NOT make the playoffs now because of this loss and a win would have helped them out greatly. If the Giants get bounced out of the playoffs by a game how on earth will this be seen a meaningless? The Giants needed this game alot more than we did they are playing for their post season lives it was a pretty big game for them.

It's going to be funny if NO NY team makes the playoffs this year, what will the biased North media do then?

It's only a meaningless game now.Remember last week terms like “must win" and "statement game" were being thrown around.

But hey you can't be surprised at the media, they are completely predictable, I am actually surprised at the amount of positive coverage we have received. I was far more disappointed in some of our fans who were ready to jump ship at the first sign of adversity and toe the line of this same media, that was truly pathetic.

Shit, watching the Ravens and the G-men right now, and it looks like they have given up. The giants, will probably be booted from the playoffs if they lose this game. And I saw this morning, them saying that Eli Mannings footwork was sloppy against Atlanta. Not like our defense didn't kick his ass. I hate the pundits. the guy said it was a 5 step drop, it could have been a 7 step drop. The media just flat out hates us. Why we need to kick the door in and screw them.
