Meaningless game

It's still cool guys. We're 13-3. All we did was leave our starters in for 4 quarters while leaving 4-5 timeouts on the field not trying to win. Sure Abe was carted off and Dunta has a concussion and Asante has a shoulder issue but still played the entire game. Offense was one dimensional and looked terrible for the most part. Game didn't mean anything though. So those injuries aren't a big deal. One week off will make all of that better.

I'm pretty optimistic for a Super Bowl(if Abe is 100%) run but what the hell was the gameplan today because nothing I saw out there made any sense. The good news is that HD looked really good returning punts like he should of been doing all season.

Falcons coach Mike Smith will be questioned for playing his starters throughout a "meaningless" game, but we can't criticize him that much. It was just bad luck. Atlanta isn't good enough to simply take two weeks off. Abraham and Robinson survived 15 games, and its unfortunate they were injured here, but you can't play football afraid to get hurt.

The Falcons also can't play like this again or they'll have yet another one-and-done trip to the playoffs
