Yes they can be drafted. Vaughn Martin became the first CIS player to be drafted into the NFL in 2009 by the Chargers. If he's good enough to be taken, I'm positive TD has his eye on him.

Geez the guy is a house. At 6'10 or 6'11 whichever I think he becomes a liability because there is no one who can throw over him. I'm guessing at that height he probably has a terrible jumpshot, which is why he is in football.

AND he did the long snapping during the game, wonder if he could play center.......LOL just would limit the throws up the middle some huh Chew on THAT, Petunia!

It must look like the entrance to a 14th century cathedral. |

RE: Matthew O'Donnell, Queens College Ontario
LOL, imagine him snapping for a field goal & then he blocks the kick with the back of his head. Being 6'10" means his helmet is at least 7' high. That's insane.
Although, you stick him at NT on defense for opposing field goals & he stands up & jumps, I bet his hands are 13-14 feet high. That could probably block some 40+ yard attempts pretty consistently one would think. I wonder if you can be too tall for LT. You get some of these veteran DE's who come out of the 3-point & are great at dipping low to swim around the edge, like Abe is, & it seems like it would be tougher to prevent that if you were too tall & your center of gravity was too high. Just thinking. Maybe not though if your arms are long enough. Reynolds is a giant at 6'8" & I think he will be a probowler someday. And Clabo is 6'7" & well, he is a probowler. It was amazing seeing those guys next to everyone else on the field at training camp. They just towered over everyone it seemed. Absolute monsters. I can't imagine what 6'10" would look like. |

RE: Matthew O'Donnell, Queens College Ontario
He is a developmental type of guy. I watch the East/West game and seen him get beat with a speed rush a few times and he is more a right tackle then left in the NFL. I would be kinda shocked if he became a LT. With that said the East D-line was killing the West O-line all game long.

RE: Matthew O'Donnell, Queens College Ontario
Umm this guy was AWFUL in the shrine game and he was bad in practices all week. He just does not have the foot speed to play OT in the NFL. He gave up 2 sacks in a row when he was in at RT and 1 led to the safety.
