RE: Matt Shaub 497 Yards Passing.
I am in no way Bashing Ryan but I wonder what our O would be like right now if we would have keep Schaub. Schaub last year lead the league in passing yards. last year he had 4770 yards passing

I always liked schaub and wish him well. But if schaub was a falcon still a lot of our team would be different. No TD, smitty, biermann, HD, gonzo, etc.
I think ryan will be better, especially if he gets into a WCO again

RE: Matt Shaub 497 Yards Passing.
I remember someone always saying he wasnt good and he was only good cause of Andre Johnson, i think Schaub has pretty much proved everyone that he is the real deal

We could have kept him, but I think Blank needed a new face to really kick the fans off their butts. There would have been conspiracy theories abound from the Vickies had Schaub gotten to start even after Vick was released.. They had to get rid of him. Vick then sealed his fate.. now they are both playing well.. Vick and Schaub.. im happy for both of them but i wish we could have at least gotten something for Vick |

RE: Matt Shaub 497 Yards Passing.
How many yards did the loser in the game have? Why can't we just be happy we have a smart, competitive, hard working winning QB who is still learning and getting better and finding ways to win while he's at it instead of constantly comparing him to 7th, 8th and 15th year QBs all the time and trying to basically say he's not as good?
Seriously, I will take his winning percent and yards per year over Schaub's any day. ![]()

I am in no way bashing Matt Ryan, I was just asking if we think Ryan can get that many yards in a game. That's all. |

Deep routes are in the plays, screens, slants, and most of the things people say he doesnt do is in there. If we cant run, we cant do a lot of those things because to be honest no defense is afraid of Ryan yet |

No qb that lead the league in passing has ever won a Super Bowl.

Ryan doesnt need to throw 500 yards. If he did that then that would mean our running game isnt working.

They have no D. Two straight games they gave up 400+ passing.
