Not saying that about the threadstarter here -- I'm just saying the things you complain of happen every year. I remember thinking it was racial when Vick was the QB, but it's not that nearly so much as it's a bunch of people so jaded by losing that they cannot bear the thought we might win. I still remember it was 2/3 the way through the 1998 season before people in this city started talking about this team being really good. And some folks would rather be cynical douchebags than to believe in something and be disappointed. It's sad if you really think about it.

Yeah, I think you nailed it. I too, remember suddenly having tons of people in the stands - when the playoffs were about to start.

I wish that there could be a way to let them enjoy what we are seeing now - but the only way to do that would be to have a crystal ball.

This is a good Organization now. Blank is going to bring us what we have been starving for here for so long.

Many of our fans are so bitter from years of crap - they're going to miss the joy of getting there.

No, I've seen your posts enough to know that wasn't what you were trying to do - I was just trying to point out that we need to learn to appreciate what we have.

He doesn't have Flacco's arm. We don't run a system where he will put up those fancy, beautiful yards - and we don't have the YAC from our receivers to help with that either.

What he is - is a winner.
