Panthers - 270 yards on 45 plays
Falcons - 35 yards on 13 plays

Sorry but that is absolutely terrible. And then on the Panthers first possession of the second half we let Cam Newton run for a 72-yard touchdown?

Total embarrassment. Right up there with the Packers playoff game.

It is refreshing to know at least one other person on this site has basic reading comprehension ability.

And I agree with you, obviously. The first half effort in that game was just beyond words to describe bad. Any one who brings up these other games or past seasons will struggle to find a half where we played that badly.

How you could say how we are playing now is as worst or worst than the recent 2007 season with Joey Harrington and Byron Leftwich is beyond anybody, but proceed to stand by it. Its ok to admit a knee jerk reaction, it happens to all of us.

I didn't say our total effort was the worst I've ever seen. Do some of you people even know how to read? I don't want to sound insulting but this is the third time in this thread someone is either intentionally distorting what I said or is simply that ignorant to understand context.

I said when I made that first post that we were playing AS BAD A GAME as I've ever seen. Not a season. Not a statement on the franchise since TD and Smith took over. I don't know how much simpler I can spell it out at this point.

As AUTigerhas said let me repost this so it sinks in:

Panthers - 270 yards on 45 plays
Falcons - 35 yards on 13 plays

Look at those numbers. It speaks for itself.

Falcons spent all of the Saints game and half of the Panthers game in playoff mode.

The Falcons offense has been in playoff mode for 4 out of the past 5 games and the defense decided to join playoff mode on Sunday.

But the game somehow doesn't matter. If it doesn't matter then why even show up in Charlotte? Why didn't we just forfeit and not get anyone hurt if the game doesn't matter?

And unfortunately I don't see it getting any better on Sunday against the Giants. Unless a miracle happens and we get the Dallas Cowboys OL from the 90s it will be just like the playoff game was last year.

Until TD decides to fix the OL we will continue to be a Jekyll and Hyde team offensively.

It wasnt about reading comprehension. You said "As Bad A game" and I responded to that. I didn't knownu were just talking about the 1st half nor did I take a look at what time the post was made. I never do, but maybe next time you should say "half" instead of "game" and maybe next time I should read the time of the post.
