Looking at the schedule, we want to win next week, not this week. This week means nothing if we win next week.

So the guys looked ahead. With 11 wins, I'll allow that. So long as they win next week, people will be talking us up, and this game won't matter. Even if we won today, we lose next week this one won't matter.

Essentially, this game didn't matter. We played like it. Big deal.

How can people say this game doesn't matter? We haven't cliched homefield yet or even a 1st round bye. And on top of that it's a division game and on top of that the Panthers talked shit all week. You would think our guys would have showed a little pride. This lost feels a lot like the lost that ended the 2005 season when we had a chance to get to 9 wins and we got embarrassed in our own house.
