Atlanta Falcons,

Thank you for the blood, sweat and tears you guys shed from OTA's until last night. This was a season for the ages. We didn't even think about the fact that we achieved our third straight winning season because of our high hopes for the post season. Even though we suffered a heart wrenching loss, I still love you guys and can't wait to see how your grow as a team and continue to improve. I'm looking forward to our 4th straight winning season, 2nd NFC South Division title in a row, and a deeper trip into the playoffs.

Martin.

I also want to take the opportunity to thank the creators of this MB. This board rocks. I don't even go to AF.com anymore. Thank you guys for a helluva season too! Smile

I'd like to thank my Falcons for a wonderful, heart-thumping season. We were flawed, we knew that. We have a great core of players, and I honestly believe we will be competitive year in and year out with this staff and roster.

Let us have a good offseason, and begin the road to the Superbowl again next year. Now I have more time to save money for a cross-atlantic flight and SB ticket Big Grin

With that said, big things are planned for these Falcons regardless of tonight's nightmare. Matt Ryan is 25 years old and is still a top 6-10 QB in this league. Mike Smith is STILL a top 3 Head Coach in this league, and resigning him to a nice deal should be our first priority. Not to mention a very stacked free agent list that includes sleepers like Charles Johnson and a draft that will give Dimitroff another opportunity to work his magic, we need to stay optimistic. I know it's easy to throw everything away after this, part of me wants to give up and burn everything I have. But that accomplishes nothing, we were lucky to get where we were and we can't give all of this up simply because we bowed down as one of the 8 final teams playing. Try not to drink too hard tonight, and remember that above all...win lose or tie, Falcons until we die!

Completely agree. We have a great core of people in our foundation with coaching, GM, and some key players. We will improve and we will get to our destination soon. Go Falcons!
