The bigger question is why we chose Peria Jerry instead of Clay Matthews...and an even bigger question is why was Clay Matthews a "no star" who had to walk on at USC....seriously....LOL

Well Clay Matthews wasn't ever really a starter for USC. They used him in a hybrid pass rushing LB role for their defense. To be fair, nobody really expected Clay Matthews to be this good and he would've been a hard fit for our defense.
