It does bother me somewhat at how much we gave up but at the same time... I knew we would have to trade up to get a game changer... We wasnt going to fine a Jolio Jones type player/potential at 27

Alot of ppl had us taking Kyle Rudolph in the 1st round and the Troy in the 2nd round... I would take Julio Jones over those 2 good players... The only thing that bother me a little bit if give up a 2012 1st round pick but if we are picking in the late 1st round again.... most likely their will not be a difference maker there also.


As for Edwards .. It looks like the 2010 rules will happen... Would i trade a 3rd round pick for Edwards... (thats what minny should look for since they would most likely get a comp 3rd round pick if he hits FA).. IDK.. Maybe

Vikings are not taking a 3rd round pick for Edwards ..they rather keep him ..

Sad thing is I honestly believe he doesn't realize we are all laughing at him. That makes me feel sorry for him. Guy is just begging for attention. Not sure if he didn't get it as a child or what, but he definitely gets little to no attention in his every day life to act the way he does. Only logical explanation.

Yes, they did. That fucking sucks. There is a caveat that if there isn't a new CBA in place then a player must get 6 yrs of service before becoming and UFA (Edwards has 4). But a new CBA could address this issue and lower the bar, so to speak. It's really just a waiting game right now as to whether or not it's realistic on us being able to go after him.

I know what they tendered him for... They dont have to trade him for a 1st round pick tho.

The Broncos tendered Brandon Marshall but trade him for less then a 1st round pick.

I'm not counting on that trade tho

That's correct. Not exactly sure about what round tender Charles Johnson got though.
