Kind of upsetting thinking we could have had Dez Byrant

RE: Kind of upsetting thinking we could have had Dez Byrant
Average season so far, with just about all his production coming in 2 games against the Giants.

He's got a long way to go. He's always been injured(weren't you complaing about TD drafting guys who get injured), he's had a history of character issues, and he's been more of a return man than a receiver thus far.

He's not having an average season for a rookie WR. His last three games have been 84, 86, 104. That's 3 straight games that would have been career highs for Michael Jenkins entering this year, and he is Dallas's 3rd WR.

Plus the guy has two punt return TDs. He's a player. There is no doubt about it.

LOL I was just referencing the fact that he would have been an obvious upgrade.

Considering the OP said he was the next Randy Moss, I'm not impressed. A lot of #2s in the NFL would be better than Michael Jenkins, some #3s even.

Not taking Dez? Eh. Not taking Clay Matthews last year? Oy.

And before anyone says it, I'm pretty sure you could line Matthews up in a 2-5 and he'd still make an impact.

RE: Kind of upsetting thinking we could have had Dez Byrant
TD on 92.9 interview just hinted that LT is one of the cornerstones of any team... this happened while on the topic of scouting, and he never once said Baker's name. Makes me think LT might be this years first round focus.

He said QB, then LT, then DE, then CB are the building blocks of any franchise in his opinion. Then he specifically mentioned JA55 still having fuel in the tank, Dunte solidifies the CB spot, & obviously Matty. But he never mentioned Baker.

He even mentioned how disappointed he was that Meier went down with the ACL, saying he felt he was going to really be something special. Well hopefully HD steps up his game & Meier comes back strong for next year. TD pretty much said Finn is on his last leg & was fighting to make the squad until Meier went down & that he's extremely proud as usual at how Finn has stepped it up.

I'm really thinking now we don't even go after a WR. LT & KR/PR/HB look like the priorities.

There is reason why players like Owens and Moss put up great stats but get traded or released every other year.
A lot of great GMs avoided Dez, not just Dimitroff.

yeh and since he wasnt disciplined for it maybe everyone else decided to screw off too because the Cowboys didnt lose much and added Dez but somehow went from 13-3 to 2-7. Watching them it was just their effort mostly and now with a tight ship being run who knows if he will erupt. Seems like he has discipline is his game atleast though

No clue how that poster said he is having a avg season ..I guess to that poster Desean Jackson aint nothing special cause he returns punt ..LMFAOO

Dez Bryant has 41 catches 550 yards 5 tds .. missed training camp and some valuable time learning offense

and plus he a rookie.... 80 catches 900 yards 10 tds ....yea ROOKIE OF THE YEAR locked up ..

ALSO RADICAL yes I have complained about TD draft picks have found them self on injury report ooooooooooooooo wait thats right Weatherspoon to Rolleyes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also some of the character issues were made up false reports ..I wish people dont listen to ESPN as the holy bible of where they get there info or act like they really know his charcther issues when they are clueless to that situation of what happen .. Dez Byrant played injured in a bowl game in college ...

is AJ GREEN going to get the character issue tag on him when he comes out

Im Happy with Spoon and think he will be solid so this isnt a knock on TD , Spoon has played great I just think we missed the boat on a once every 10 year special player that drops.. He basically has it all ,, speed, size, hands , body control ...and just imagine him returning punts for us to

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .
