Kind of upsetting thinking we could have had Dez Byrant

Yeh, plus since he is 5 or 6 years younger we would of already had our 1wr in waiting like Wayne to Harrison but butter. With that said Mike Smith is looking to put the final pieces of his defense together. I believe Smith knows what it takes to have an elite defense. Spoon will be a huge part and will be a falcon favorite for life in his scheme IMO. They are both electrifying with the edge to Dez and I think they will be focal points for both their respective teams. I know what you mean though, when our pick was up I was like holy crap we can really get this guy, never believed it was going to happen but was still wishing for selfish reasons and yesterday it did sting lil bit.

Plus, Bryant had a reputation for never being anywhere on time, which will make you drop.

As much as I agree that the Falcons need another WR, I am not going to criticize TD for going the way he did.

That first TD catch Bryant made yesterday was insane.

Instead we drafted a guy who the players on the team call "The most important player on defense."

I wanted him more than anybody. But I'm glad we got Spoon. Its like we got Olajawon to Bryant's Jordan and not Bowie, if you get me. There are several teams looking more "Portland" than we are right now.

So, you don't ever come around to just talk football, but when you show up it's to second guess TD and thump your own chest about wanting a player that looks like a good pick?

didn't his 'i didn't know rookies got hazed' thing in training camp prove he's just another diva?

we're winning, and yeah i do think we could upgrade some of our positions, but i sure like that we've got what appears to be one of the best locker room chemistry teams in the league, and would hate to see someone come in with a bad attitude and ruin that. Kinda like Moss in Minnesota this season....

Reports are during Wade Phillips regime, Dez Bryant routinely arrived late for and slept through meetings. No discipline. That is not the kind of player you want in the locker room.
There is reason why players like Owens and Moss put up great stats but get traded or released every other year.
A lot of great GMs avoided Dez, not just Dimitroff.

Dimitroff comes from the Belichick school of thought. Brady throws to a bunch of average WR's and does well. Ryan will have Roddy and a stable of average, reliable hands. That is the apparent goal.

TD drafted Spoon and, once he is healthy, he will prove to be a defender that will impact many games.

Bryant is terrific. Congrats to the Cowboys, Lord knows they need something to be happy about.
