I've never seen a former player for a team have so many bitter ex fans attack them on message boards like Brooking does. Go read some Cleveland Cavs forums if you want to see some real bitterness towards a former player. ![]() The irony is that the way you respond to the "idiotic" posts makes it appear that you are actually the one who is bitter or at the very least can't handle the fact that lots of people disagree with your position. I suppose they all must be idiots. Its not really that hard to understand. Most people here are Falcon fans first and foremost, players come and go, so when a former player talks trash about his former team it's likely to ruffle some feathers of those that are still Falcons fans. The expectation that fans of the team would side with the former player over their own team is what's idiotic. |

His finest moment, the best tankler in the game, except when a slow QB blew by him like Carl Lewis.
This picture perfectly sums up his career.

Dude, I was one of Keiths biggest fans, had his jersey, everything. Then he acted like the ASSHOLE from HELL leaving here and what he did at the Falcons game and the interview afterwards said it all. If he didn't do all that and just left here and acted like its a buisness and not to take it personal. I wouldn't have started this thread. He brought it on himself. IMO. I echo nativefalcon's sentiments. I defended KB56 for years on AFMB, but after the crap he pulled last year he can go to hell. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read last week that he was giving up the vocal duties in the huddle and turning them over to Demarcus Ware. The writing is already on the wall for him. Jones will gut this team in the offseason, with Brooking and Roy E. Williams being the first two to go, along with most of the O-line I imagine. Mora Jr. hilariously called out Mike Jenkin's after Sunday night's game, before Wade was fired, and said if he was coach Jenkins would have been cut Monday morning. Jumped all over his ass. |

He deserves what ever happens to him as long as it isnt physical damage. So your telling me if a team that you had been playing with your entire career cut you and told they are going in a "younger" direction, and you got signed and started for a team that gave you the chance to get back at them and prove you can still play, you wouldn't do something. I agree he might have went a lil overboard but you can't blame him for wanting a little pay back. That's just competitive nature. If our boys played with the passion he had in that game, he wouldn't have been able to celebrate like he did because we would have gotten the W. Lawyer Milloy not being able to run down a cripple Boldin had nothing to do with is losing. Michael Turner getting exploded in the backfield and coughing it up had nothing to do with us losing. It was all about that one play... 3rd and 16...

I don't even think Roy W will be gone. It seemed like a light had actually turned on with him this season. Brookings may retire but he has had an awesome career. I haven't a clue what will happen. I don't like Garrett but he is put in a tough spot and the team is in a tough spot because of him. There's no way he can put his stamp on this team in this short time, and with a back up QB at that. I don't really think Dallas O has been a problem under Garrett besides the inconsistency. It is still the highest ranked years in Dallas history. But on the other hand, there are a lot of proven coaches out there right now and they won't be there forever. I say if Garrett does well given his circumstances, give him one full year with a starting QB. Go get a proven DC and put something together. |
