how is this thread breaking rule number 3 ?

Im positing valuable piece of info of Jones not running yet
Now we come to find out he might have only just hung out for a lil then bounced before meeting all his teammates

Quote:ill just add this... When Matt Ryan interviewed.... Matt sounded like Julio wasnt there... D-Led and the CBA reporter said Julio was there.

then atljbo just said the way Matt sounded , wasnt like Julio was there

so what is GOING ON ?

RE: Julio Jones not running at workouts
Not that any of this matters very much, but all the interviews and whatnot I saw made it seem that Ryan and Julio and JPW had worked out, but he wasn't at the team practices.

I think reporters just read it wrong and went in all kinds of directions.

The kid can't be doing real workouts anyway right now, so I don't care either way.

Thats the thing.. from what ive read.. He was never there... You are saying he was there but bounced... The reporters thats there said they never saw him there...

I think he have a good reason

I'm ok with him messing these practices... The guy has been working with our QB's before these workouts

I agree.. The only real work he can do now is learning the playbook

RE: Julio Jones not running at workouts
Honestly, why are we even talking about this? It's quite simple:

Sometime before the player-organized minicamps got underway on Tuesday, there was a throwing session attended by Ryan, Jones and Roddy, among other players. Jones caught passes only, then left for Alabama to do community work.

Jones was never expected to take part in Tuesday's and Wednesday's minicamps, due to several obvious reasons which have been stated multiple times in this thread. The reason none of the defensive players that SportsFreak spoke with could recall seeing Jones is because, a) he wasn't at the minicamp and, b) they weren't at the earlier throwing session.

So, again... Why are we even talking about this?

Oh, that's right - because there's a person on these boards who gets a real big kick out of stirring shit up by recklessly doling out unfounded defamatory statements against certain players and executives working for this organization.

naw man... Its how you come across.... You come across very smug.

To me it doesnt matter... If you say something i agree with.. ill say i agree... If i disagree.. ill say why i disagree

But yea.. From the reporter's there ...They said Dent was the only rookie there so that means Julio wasnt... Its no big deal because our WR's and Matt has been working with Julio, the guy cant fully run so Julio will just be there to watch, and the guy is missing the workouts to help ppl in need....

So its no big deal.

I believe you're partially wrong. The first day they held the 7 on 7's is when Matty said he & JPW met with Julio, tossed the ball, and discussed plays and jargon. The interviews happened that day and there was no mention of this having happened some time in the past.

I believe that Julio was at the field they were doing 7 on 7's at for before anyone else got there and for however long it takes to do what Matty said they did and then he simply left before the rest of the team showed. It certainly wasn't a fucking "drive-by" if he's tossing the ball and going through the playbook. That's not a "Hi, bye" 5 minute thing like Swift is ignorantly propagating.

Nobody said he was there during the 7 on 7's, not even the reporters.

Either way, this all stems from Swift trying yet again to run away with something he knows nothing about so he can spin it into a negative.

Like this shit, "so if Dunta & Jones are helping victims .. does that make Matt Ryan look bad and showing poor leadership not helping these victims ?"

Why is that even mentioned? What's the purpose of even bringing this up when you have no idea at all what Ryan has or hasn't done or if he had some personal connection to the tragedy?

I can't believe you're still being allowed to do shit like that.

so you think only people with close personal connection the tragedy should only be helping out ? thats quite foolish to think that .. Its also quite foolish to believe Dunta Robinson is out there moving debris or doing and physical work that needs to be done to the area . You only stretch the truth to fit your agenda ..

is there any link about Dunta helping victims . I would like to see it ..? I know I saw one for Julio Jones ..There are also hundreds of ways to help victims . I donated through red cross..You think I can get away with saying im on the ground helping tornado victims

Tuesday, 5/10/2011 - the first day of 7-on-7's.

Again, this whole thing is a non-story.

thats the thing now .. I respect Jones for helping victims out and I dont want him on the field anyway but dont leak stories to media he is OUT there with his teammates..That shit is FALSE and a fucking lie. He is not watching offense practice , he is not out there gelling with his teammates ..

shame our local writers can fuck something so easy up ..must be on Artie payroll

its a shame it takes a poster to break some news and tell the WHOLE TRUTH

keep it up sportsfreak

This CBS reporter was saying the 1st players to come and last to leave... So obviously he was there when the players came and left.

ALSO
Quote:For the past few weeks, Ryan and some receivers have met to practice routes. First-round draft choice Julio Jones has met with his new quarterback to get a head start on learning the offensive system. Jones is still recovering from a stress fracture in his foot, though, and has been unable to run.
