I would advise that if you carry on as normal at least substitute Hankerson or Little for Dez

Well, If we had gotten Dez Bryant and he missed 4 games like in Dallas, it would be "Dimitroff drafts injury prone players!":rolleyes:

I remember quite well the entire season and how we lost to 2 backup qb's and nearly lost to the Browns as well. Don't tell me or anyone else here that it was a panic attack. We couldn't move the ball as effectively as wanted. We struggled against good defenses because they played everything within 10 yards.

5-6 of the games we won could have gone either way. So I don't see how losing to GB in the playoffs was a panic attack. It just summed up our fake record season. Yes I said fake record. We were VERY LUCKY last year. VERY L-U-C-K-Y.

exactly phocis. all last year, Falcon fan after Falcon fan bitched and moaned "the media isn't respecting us" and "all they do is talk about how this or that team should have beat us", don't forget "we were lucky? how about the lucky bounce off the ankle, insert your own arguement against a 'lucky' game for last year", God knows we all had them. all this was because we didn't have the firepower to put teams away, lots and lots and lots of talk and criticisms about us 'barely' winning our games. this trade wasn't done in PANIC MODE, this trade/draft pick was done to help alleviate some of that 'lack of firepower' that we had. these types of playmakers don't come along often, better get one when you can!

i know that reopened the 'we should have drafted dez bryant' door...but as i already said, we weren't going to draft a moron like that, if his talent level was soooo great that his antics should be overlooked, why did so many others pass on him too for so long?

Hey! Long time no talk! But lets get to this...I was told by several of the players that Julio Jones was NOT at either of the team workouts, running or not! Lots of the guys have never even met him. Dent has been there, but no Julio sighting. Sorry if this disappoints u guys.

As a guy who has defended you a number of times, it's hard for me to argue against numerous reports of JJ at least being there.

DOL wrote that JJ was there talking with Matty & JPW. I hardly think he would lie about seeing him & put it in print. Not to mention, Matt has said the same thing himself that he has been going over plays & tossing the ball with JJ.

And besides who cares if he's been there or not. He can't participate for another week. Plus he has no contract, I'm not sure I want him participating. I'd rather he be in the gym working out than standing around watching.

I swear to u I was asking the guys (about 5 of them, all defensive players) what they thought of Julio & they said they had nothing to go on. I said...wasnt he at the workouts? They ALL said NO! I said...the paper says he was there and Matt did an interview about it and they said...there was only 2 days they did those workouts and they have NEVER seen him there. So if he was there, he came before or after they were done. Im planning to be there next week (cross ur fingers) so I will let u know personally if he is there. I dont think 5 different guys would have the same story and all be wrong. Im just sayin.... "/

tell us what's going on with a couple of players if you know, Franks? you posted something a few months back he's not in good standing and might not make the team this year, or something along those lines, any news?

second - Norwood, is he done? speculation with the Rodgers draft choice is that JN is gone. sure hate he became so fragile, man could he put some moves on....

last - I thought I read somewhere that Finn had been released, but then a report somewhere said he was working out with the team too?

I imagine he was there beforehand and then took off rather than standing around watching. Why are you trying to make it sound like he's a slacker & the team is throwing the new kid under the bus? We already know he can't participate and he's not under contract yet. What's the point in insinuating that he's not a team player in the eyes of some players because he didn't participate? So what if he wasn't there, what is your point?

Is it not possible that the 5 guys you spoke to showed up after he left? That maybe he was there EARLY with Matty and JPW playing toss and then left?

Again, why in the hell would multiple reporters say they saw him there and put it in print and then Matty give multiple interviews saying he was tossing the ball with him and then Julio himself say in several interviews that he did the same thing?

Come on, is there really some idiotic conspiracy that involves a bunch of people lieing about something ridiculously unimportant?
