Julio Jones not running at workouts

RE: Julio Jones not running at workouts
yea.. In an uinterview last week Julio Jones said he would be ok'ed by the doctors to run next Saturday... So thats this Saturday.
When Crabtree had this injury dude said the doctor told him this is a 10 week healing process (no running for 10 weeks) .. This is like Julio 8th week from surgery. ![]()

RE: Julio Jones not running at workouts
was it a stress fracture to his foot? i'm thinking that's what i read somewhere but i'd have to go look it up to be sure.
i don't have a problem with him not running right now, and i'm sure the general thought line is they want him totally healed by TC, if we have much of a TC Chew on THAT, Petunia!

RE: Julio Jones not running at workouts
Thanks for raising this Swift, Jones not running doesn't bother me. He ran at the combine because he had to prove himself. It was a risk he was likely advised against. But his medical tests at the combine obviously raised no flags along with his workout. Jones running routes now would be a bad move, because whilst he is a falcon by draft association, he is not one by contract. What I do like is the fact that he is getting knowledge in and started to bond with his team. I disliked how another article pointed out Jenkins was at a practice that Jones and White were not. To me it was like they were implying neither were team players which could not be further from the truth.

If its a 10 week injury... We gotta atleast give him 10 weeks ![]()

RE: Julio Jones not running at workouts
I just dont know why Ryan said I dont want to get into the injury ..This front office hides injuries and tries to cover specifics of injuries for some reason . They must think not telling us the fan base the whole truth behind the Perria Jerry injury is some competitive advantage they will feel like they are disclosing injury .
Ill give Jones credit that he ran the combine and by all means he HELPED his stock more then hurt it . shit if he didnt run we could have gotten Jones from 12-16 range . Him only turning out a great combine added to his stock and to do it on a poor foot ++++ I just dont want Jones out there without a CONTRACT running routes ..He will have no compensation if he gets hurt and the team would be devastated losing Jones with some injury in unsupervised drills and passing routes. Injuries happen anytime , anywhere . There is 1 thing for player/and from team standpoint to lose a player in practice under coaching //SHIT HAPPENS . but god for bid ...Jones is running routes in a non scheduled practice and blows out his acl or fucks up his foot... 1) He has no contract so were not obligated to give him money 2) Team is fucked ..we just traded away future picks for this player and he was injured in a non schedule work out.. ![]() I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . I just know he was healthy by TC that injury is called a 'jones fracture' named back in 1902, in the area where the little toe and the foot come together. generally thought to be a 10 week recovery, He had the surgery March 5th Chew on THAT, Petunia!
