I agree, but Clausen will have growing pains too. Hope hes kind of like Leinart. Tongue

Clausen can't be much worse than Matt Moore. He will need time to develop though, which is good news for the Falcons!

he liked what he saw out of Clausen? 4.5 yards per completion, a QB rating under 30 so far this year, and 0 TD's with 1 interception. Jimmy Clausen is the real deal (there, I said it), but he hasn't done anything at all this season to say that he deserves to take Moore's job. At this point it's pick your poison for John Fox.

I knew the Panthers would not be better w/o Jake this year...

In this league as far as I can tell it is mostly about having a competent QB.

Jake had issues but now they have Noobs.. It takes Noobs a while to become competent if they ever do.

Clausen will have a difficult task against the Bengals D. God this is great!

You have to wonder why he fell off in the draft...with all those physical qualities...

Attitude, Leadership, Character... difficult to coach these up if a guy already thinks he knows everything, or if a guy is just a jerk he will find it difficult to lead people of quality...

Fox is playing chess to keep his job.

If they are week this year, its because they where training a future franchise QB.
If they are average this year, he did a wonderful job training our future QB.

Clausen is just a saftey net.

I think Clausen will be fine in time. He's going to have some bad games, sure. I just think that he can develop into a solid QB for them.
