Jenkins figertip sideline catch

Man, that was an AMAZING catch. Everyone hates on Jenkins, but his experience showed during that catch

He knew that if one of his hands left the ball then it would have been considered bobbled. He decided in the split second to keep his fingers in control even while out of bounds.

THAT is how Jenkins has been stepping it up this year.

About the same damn pass as against Chicago except with the added fingertip drama.

I can't complain with his results this year, though I'd love to see him produce in the red zone.

You got that right. The guy just doesn't know how to use his size advantage. He needs a more killer attitude. There is no reason he shouldn't have 3 or 4 TDs by now.

As many issues I have with Jenks, there is no doubt he's been clutch for us.

They were not really complementing us - here is the whole conversation:

This is a good win for the Falcons and the Ravens ought to be disappointed because the Ravens go ahead and it looks like they are going to win the game and that vaunted defense just gives it away and by the way - that's a bogus catch by Jenkins - it was not a catch and the referees on the field and in the replay booth blew it. You can not control the ball with your fingertips while you are shifting it to your palms. It's a bogus catch, it never should have counted and the league is going to wind up apologizing to the Ravens.

Now, here is my problem. Not every starting QB "wins" at home as they seem to claim. Ryan is one of 3 QBs in the history of the NFL to win 18 of their first 19 home starts. Danny White actually got to 19-1 before his second loss at home. However, he was in his 7th year when he got to the 18-1 Ryan is at now. Daryle Lamonica was the other QB and he got to 24-1 before losing the second game and he reached 18-1 in his 7th year.

Ryan's road record is not good, but it's typical of a young team on the road. His record is 9-11 on the road. The point differential total for 2 1/2 years on the road is -17. Opponents have scored 428 points and we have scored 410 points. That is an average of 21.4 points per game by the opponent and 20.5 points by us or a difference of -0.9 points per game.

The other thing that bothers me is that they keep saying we have to beat New Orleans. We did beat them once already - and that was ON THE ROAD.

We'll see how it ends up - but I still think anything we've accomplished is dismissed as usual and I'm okay with that basically. Let them play with a chip.
