RE: Jeff Fisher is no longer the Titans coach
i watched the press conference. Jeff Fisher is a total CLASS guy. The media on the other hand, just KEPT asking for specifics, and he just kept saying he wasn't going to talk about specifics. He finally just said, 'in closing' ignored further questions, made his statement and left.

totally classy guy the way he handled it, good luck to him

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

I think they will interview Mularkey. Usually when you get rid of your HC, you go for someone who is the opposite of him. If the last coach was defensive-minded, they will now look for an offensive-minded guy. Plus Bud Adams is desperate to see his team putting up points.

I figure Fisher will go into the both for someone next season rather than take a job as a Coordinator. But I fully expect him to be back coaching in the 2012 season.

during the interview, he said twice he'd been coaching for 25 years and he needs some rest. he mentioned coaches who after 10 years would take a year off and come back a better coach. I bet he does just that, at least the takes a year off part

RE: Jeff Fisher is no longer the Titans coach
Please hire Mularkey Bud Adams!!!!

I am so sick of hearing the bitching about Mularkey's play calling it's ruining the games fun aspect. Nobody complained in 2008. The mess started with the arrival of the HOF TE and he alone effected the play calling.

Point being, Mularkey's scheme fits the Titans better than the Falcons. The Titans have a great O-line and RBs. The Titans offense was the WCO,...it is almost certain Mularkey would do well in Tennessee as play caller and head coach. Mularkey did that in Buffalo but didn't have the cast.

Fisher will sit things out, maybe get into some television but he'll be back soon. Fisher is too young to sit things out for too long.
