I feel absolutely no remorse or shame in taking this win. For those that need to come to grips with this, let's take a look at the calls in question.

Face mask. This was the one true gift. Both players were clearly grabbing face masks. No question about it. The Ravens got caught and the play gave us a much needed first down. I think that it boiled down to the refs' angles of vision. We got lucky.

Finger tip catch. I saw this as a reception. Jenkins had control of the ball before he went out of bounds. If a defender had been close to him and pushed him, I doubt MJ would have been able to make that play. However, Jenkins severely beat his man and made a great catch. I see no controversy here. BTW, that was a perfect pass from Ryan.

Offensive Interference. Roddy was single covered on this play...big mistake. Had the Ravens been smart, they would have blanketed Roddy with a CB and a Safey. Douglas and Jenkins would not have beaten the Ravens. Having said that, Roddy made his cut to the sideline and was hand fighting with the defender. At the cut, Roddy did push off and caught the defender off balance. The defender fell to the ground and the rest is history.
How many times have we seen this go against us? We have had small CB's for years and we have lost many hand battles. Can anyone say that Mason did not do a little pushing in the end zone just before he scoered on Grimes? Come on guys, this sort of thing happens all the time. TO has made a living on that kind of things for years. And TO is not allone.
This was a great play by Roddy and a well deserved TD.

So, there we are. The Falcons finally caught a break from the Refs. Amazing. And now, some of you are feeling remorseful? Chile, please!

Michael Irvin is in the Hall and he may have committed offensive pass interference on every catch he ever made.

To me, he went down too easy. I believe he knew he was beat and took a dive (kinda like in soccer) to try to get the call. Roddy might have pushed off a bit but it wasn't enough for dude to go down like that.
