Which is one of those picks back if they do. Like I said TD will stock up on picks elsewhere. Some people don't pay attention to history.

On the surface we gave up alot but the point values match up. We did just trade up to get the #6 pick that is never cheap. I do hope we keep Jenkins around though as our offense was sputtering last year till he came back.

But the best thing about this trade is it pisses Swfit off so it's good to see him fuming cause it's not like any of us can change what has happened we pretty much have to sit back and trust our front office who has been pretty good the last 3 years.

so i'm going to sit back and hope jones does well for us and watch Swift flip out ever 2 seconds.

The only 2 players I can live with mortgage future for is Green or Peterson .

This is likely to become one of those posts that will be used against you in 2 years because of how incredibly wrong it turns out to be. Because, really, that this point, none of us (especially not us amateurs) really knows jack about how these players will turn out.

This post could turn out to be embarrassingly wrong for any (or all) of the following reasons:
1. Jones becomes a hall of fame receiver
2. Hankerson busts
3. Green busts
4. Peterson busts
5. TD becomes so successful that world championship trophies are no longer called "Lombardies", but "Dimitroffs".

Drivehome- I have nothing against the pick but we gave up too much . I believe Jones would make impact but in right offense . I think we could have gotten Hankerson who would have made same impact as Jones plus able to build depth with other picks . I also don't think Jones is player put us over the top cause this was a win move now and put all chips to table so we must win now

Now look at who was available at or old spot.....and look what the saints did (now that was aggressive but filled TWO of their needs with quality players)

You don't trade your a good part of this year's and the first round next year and leverage the future of this team on a WR.

How many would have traded 2 first round picks, plus second, and two fourths for Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson today?
No one....... people would have still thought you were crazy.....

Dallas traded two first rounders for Roy Williams.....How'd that work out?

We were in a perfect position to jump a little forward to get a guy we loved, or a little backwards and picked up an early second and additional 3rd or 4th, I just don't know what to say....

I am still a falcons fan and will support them no matter what....but am truly shocked, there were plenty of solid WR prospects that would have been around.

I am not watching the rest of the draft, I will see the results after the weekend. I hope I eat my words.....but seriously this is gonna cost us multiple runs at the championship.....this was not in the TD build for a strong future. It was an IMPULSE BUY, because we would have to wait......even if he is a great player.....I am going with terrible move. Why not jump to the 33/34/35 pick to get Jernigan? I just don't get this!!!!!!!
