There is no question that Atlanta is the best team. They have shown they have the ability to consistently win games regardless of the circumstances.

But...you're only as good as your most recent game, so they have to keep it going. If they lose this week, they will be again temporarily dismissed.

I am sort if ashamed to be a member of this board right now. We get a huge win on exclusive National TV against a top team, take over the entire NFC, have a home path to home field advantage throughout the playoffs . . . And you guys are bitchin' about ANTICIPATORY media slights?

LOL it's a good point. It's insane how insecure we are as a fan base. The hype doesn't do anything for the team. Earn that trip to Dallas, and the team will get all the coverage they ever could dream of, and they will have earned it as well. Right now the team really hasn't proven anything, but it's a good thing to be in the position they are in.

I agree to an extent, but why do we have to earn something that's given away to everybody else? That's like going to a fast food spot and having to pay for napkins while everybody else grabs them out of the dispenser. And this team has proven more than any other team in this league. We are 7-2. Winning record against winning teams. Respectable 500 record on the road. Undefeated at home. That should be more than enough proof for anybody.
