I'm watching the jets / pats game, If we had some how made it thru the NFCCG and the packers and bears to the playoffs. Would ya'll rather find out now, we still have problems, or on the national stage in the super bowl? To get embarassed like that. I know its bad too the divisional game, but Rodgers is good, freaking Brady is awsome and it might have been 60 to 21.

The falcons got work to do. Some people got to go, and TD needs to find the best people he can on both sides of the ball. Wink

lets win a playoff game first before we start looking ahead to what would have Brady done to our secondary and our defense ..any given sunday . Pats were big favs undefeated vs a Giants team and look who won that super bowl

we need to win a playoff game with this regime first before we start looking ahead

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

The first thing the Falcons have to do is, get rid of MM and BV.

I look at the positive side too, Better to get embarrassed now rather than on the BIG stage. We have things we have to work on. The two main things that come to mind are tackling drills and the cuttings of that 21 dude (I don't even want to say his name...)

I wish we could part ways with both, especailly MM, because I think his scheme is screwing Matt up. We need to be a throwing team. BVG, because we made it to the palyoffs will not get fired. Sad

RE: If Rodgers carved us up bad, what would have Brady done to US
I think most of us knew deep down somewhere below the conscious level that the Falcons would have a reeaaaaalllll tough time matching up against Brady in the Super Bowl.

We just didn't realize we'd be jolted back to earth so traumatically. As the number-one seed there was the expectation that we were good enough to get to the Super Bowl. And that when we got there, even if we got beat by Brady, at least we would give them a good game.

So I guess the answer to your hypothetical carving scenario, yes, Brady could put any number he wanted to on the scoreboard against the defense that showed up for the game yesterday. But big deal, so could've most any other NFL QB.

Yep, I didn't really have any good thoughts about that matchup, but you never know, that was my attitude. And while I certainly don't like the loss last night, I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted that to happen in the SuperBowl.

The good news is that unlike most previous playoff seasons I don't feel quite as bad because I feel like we'll be right back into the mix next season. In years past I knew we would probably have to wait another 3-5 years to get back in. Easier to be patient now I guess. We'll still have our shots.
