I don't think it's all on the defense -- to be fair, the offense had more turnovers than just the picks. Jenkins and Ryan also had a fumble each. 4 turnovers isn't really fair to the defense, either.

But I do think on balance, we had a tie game late in the 2nd quarter, but it was a 14-14 game. That's measuring up to be a shootout. The impetus that puts on the offense is quick strike, make a play. We're not built for that. The idea is control the tempo of the game and get stops. That's how we win. Keep their offense off the field and when they do get on, stop them and get the ball back and start the game of keep away over again. When the defense is letting them march down and score a TD every time they touch the FB, it's just not going to be our day.

So I'd say it's mostly on the defense, but the offense sure didn't help them out any.
