I really don't think that 2nd round pick was important at all. Look at it this way, with that pick, and without Tony G coming to Atlanta, we would have needed to draft a TE. We wouldn't get a very good one at our pick in the 2nd round, or we would have had to sign some scrub from the free agents, which lets be honest, there hasn't really been too many good TE's coming through FA lately. Don't take it as a loss. You can't. Because despite what people think, he was a major plus.

More than likely, that 2nd round pick probably would have ended up a bust. So I don't see it as a huge loss.
