RE: I need your favorite sandwich recipes
I prefer sub-sandwiches myself. I enjoy my Italian food, and the more spice the better.
Submarine Roll - of course Lettuce, red onion, black olives, and bell peppers. Some people would probably want tomato on a sammich like this. If you want some kick like I do, throw in some cayenne peppers. Some basil, garlic, olive oil, parsley, and a bit of oregano. Just play with it a bit to get a feel for what you like. Now break out some salami(a lot of different types, find what you like), pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Break open that sub, throw on the meat and cheese. Toast it here if you want. Mix the basil, garlic, olive oil, parsley and oregano together to form the sauce. Now throw on the lettuce, (tomato), red onion, and bell peppers. Pour the sauce on evenly, be careful not to soak the sandwich. Finally, throw on the cayenne peppers if you like the spice. Kick ass sandwich if there ever was one. Every now and then I put on a little bit of mustard when I am low on olive oil. Your breath will smell like death once your done with this though. Go easy on the garlic, a little bit of that stuff goes a LONG way. |

RE: I need your favorite sandwich recipes
My favorite thing to ever make for college if I'm feeling happy is an ultimate grilled cheese. One of my roommates works at a cheese outlet (sounds crazy but they exist) so we get all kinds of good stuff. American, Swiss, Pepperjack, Mozzarella, and provolone stuffed between jumbo bacon and mayo is honestly what I always go when it comes to sandwich time.

RE: I need your favorite sandwich recipes
Take bread, two pieces minimum.
Take one piece, apply peanut butter liberally. Take opposite piece, apply jelly liberally. Combine the two pieces, win at life.

I have one, however, if you're going to sell for profit, may I collect some revenue?

RE: I need your favorite sandwich recipes
Actually I finished the menu this evening but it can always be added as feature item. I could at least make it for you for free if and when you come to Tampa for the Falcons game. People really love their cheese Ive noticed and in a close race for personal consumption I would have to go with Radical's and have Spork's apple on apple action for dessert.
Full Metal had some bizarro sandwiches then just mentions goat curry leftovers, what the hell. |

LOL I knew my perverse nature with food would get some eyebrows raised. Dude seriously try it sometime time. You'll be surprised. Have you ever seen ratatouille the movie? I'm a bit like the mouse from that, combine all sorts of crazy and produce all sorts of awesome. If you're ever in London visit this restaurant http://veranda-london.com/ I work there, no I'm not head chef Anthony Cumberbatch, but I work with him and there's a lot of stuff the staff work on that we don't serve because it wouldn't sell unless we marketed our selves differently but it tastes great. What I was saying about the left overs is the flavours in the meats like curry goat and jerk chicken are still very present if not more so when they are cold. Almost like with cured meats like smoked Applewood ham. Not sure what sort of food you do at your restaurant? But if you do mains or special dishes and you have a few units left the following day you should put the meats into a sandwich as the special sandwich for the day. E.g. I played 50 cents double when he came to England to film dead man running (there was an action scene with him in it where I did the work and he did the close up shots that got cut from the movie in the end) The catering company there did Jerk chicken for lunch sold like crazy but they had made too much. They got french baguettes, and roulet cheese, for green leaves they used rocket (arugula) stripped the chicken off the bones and used it in the sandwiches 50 cent and the other main actors came out of their trailers and bought the lot of them, yes it shows the doucheyness of them because that was food for the extras and crew but at the same time it was a pretty clever idea by the caterers. I'm hungry now

Also, Cuban bread differs from hoagie bread in that is has more water and lard in the mix. The final product is ideal for pressing and hence the perfect bread to make a Cuban sandwich. I will also add that you forgot the mustard. A thin coat of simply mixed with the mayo will do. |

RE: I need your favorite sandwich recipes
Fried chicken fingers soaked in a relatively hot, hot wing sauce. Provolone cheese. Mayo, Honey Mustard, lettuce, pickle.
Toast the bread with the cheese. Apply Mayo + Honey mustard to bread after toasting. Add 'buffalo fingers' Add lettuce and pickles. Enjoy. Used to make this allllllllll the time when my family ran a restaurant. Wasn't on the menu but people would see me eating it and ask me to make it for em. Became quite a hit. A good honey mustard is key, though. It can be a great (or terrible) contrast to the hot sauce depending on what kind of honey mustard you use. This is my signature. |
