Aaaaah yes the good old days...smh Oh yes... its clear now. Lol. I don't know why its so funny but I remember him tackling our own guy. That happened 3 times that year I believe.

Aaaaah yes the good old days...smh Yeah I remember that. For me the defining moment where it was perfectly clear from nothing but a pure physical point of view that Brooking didn't have the tools left was the 2008 Philly game where he visibly got outrun (left in the dust actually) by their 270+ pound fullback (I dont know what actual weight, could've been more, but he was visibly fat). I remember thinking if he can't run with that guy how could you expect him to cover a TE, RB or god forbid a WR, of course when we really needed him to do it on 3rd and 16, he just wasn't up to the task. |

This guy was a selfless warrior who routinely gave up Pro Bowl seasons to rotate wherever the Falcons wanted to move him, played an entire season with a broken back with no complaints and even two years removed from being shown the door by the Falcons some people still can't let it go. Pathetic. 3rd and 16...nuff said. Then when he didn't want to take less money because of his declining skill set, he took his ball and went elsewhere. Well I liked Brooking when he was making plays. When he started sucking it up and still expected to be paid like a superstar, I lost it for the guy. Then his antics last year revealed his true colors. Keep your man love for Brooking...
