The part did not go faulty. Do you not have any grasp of reality? The operator that installed the equipment set the threshold too low which caused the shut down of a section of the lights. It was "just as I figured" when the day before it was found to be related to a switchgear device. I said at that time that someone had probably configured it incorrectly which was EXACTLY what it turned out to be.
