The NFL also promised it to KC if they build a retractable roof stadium because it will honor Lamar Hunt for creating the Super Bowl. Haven't gotten there yet.

And what was the reason New Orleans hosted the other NINE Super Bowls? It certainly had nothing to do with Katrina. It is because New Orleans is the best equipped to handle the influx of people and the week-long activities efficiently.
