Yep, that's absolutely the point. Even if HD doesn't get a single pass in the slot, forcing the other defense to take out a safety or LB to put another DB in coverage and keep safeties deep to protect the spread on 3-4 receiver sets is 2 less people playing in the box or blitzing. That's an advantage for both run & pass.

I can't help but think that jenks might have caught that bomb from Ryan. He's tall and we saw that he's plenty fast last year

I'm assuming Jenkins and Coleman will be back, which means everyone on our 53 man roster will be healthy. Obviously we lost Norwood and Meier, but we are doing pretty damn good on injuries right now. I knocked on wood after I typed that.
